It's equipped with a ridiculously powerful Brushless Flux motor, providing not only the most insane top speeds, but also legendary solidity! It's equipped with a state-of-the-art chassis based on the latest HPI Savage TVP technology, giving it exceptional ground clearance.

The Savage XS Flux chassis is very similar to the thermal Savage and FLUX models so popular in the RC world. It's the TVP (Twin Vertical Plate) chassis! The TVP design of the Savage XS FLUX is made up of two thick castings joined by the differential housings at each end and the transmission housing and motor plates in the center. These frame structures contribute to the extreme rigidity and toughness of the chassis!
The Savage XS FLUX was designed from the outset to use powerful 2S or 3S LiPo packs. A 2S (7.4 V) pack will offer the best balance between handling and performance, and is what we suggest to most owners. But if you want to go full speed, you'll need to install a 3S pack. 11.1 volts will allow you to do standing start backflips and reach speeds of up to 104 kilometers per hour (with the optional 34-tooth sprocket).
The Savage XS FLUX features super-strong all-metal transmission gears to ensure that the power of its brushless motor is transmitted in full. From the pinion and spur gears, through the multi-speed transmission to the front and rear differentials, driveshafts and metal axles, the Savage XS FLUX is perfectly designed to transmit all power to the ground. The entire transmission runs on durable ball bearings for ultra-fast top speeds!
