RC Autogyres

Autogyros (gyroscopes) are aircraft powered by a propeller engine (like an airplane) but whose lift is provided by rotating sails (like a helicopter). This system was invented around 1920 in Spain. It can land on a small area, but requires more space than a helicopter to take off.
