The model of the STOL Zlin Aviation Savage Norden Italian-Czech adventure aircraft has arrived.
This 1600 mm wingspan model was created in official cooperation with Zlin Aviation s.r.o., and based on its big brother, it offers unprecedented features and possibilities. The unique system of double-slotted flaps and leading-edge slats enables steep take-offs, equally fast landings, majestic snail-speed passes and equally slow turns with minimal radius.
When the flaps and slats are retracted, however, it's a completely different story. The Norden behaves like an agile semi-acrobat. The versatility of this aircraft, which combines a high-wing trainer with a perfect stall speed, is quite unique.
With its sturdy suspended landing gear and large balloon wheels, you can land anywhere in nature. LED navigation lights for relaxing at dusk, a range of scaled accessories and two attractive color schemes will put a smile on your face.
The Norden is powered by a C3548-800 class brushless motor with a 50A KAVAN R-50SB Plus ESC, which you power with a suitable 4S LiPo with a capacity of 2600-3300 mAh and a rating of at least 30C.

You'll need at least a 6-channel radio to control your Norden; even a radio without a computer will work, as the aileron, flap, rudder and elevator servos are controlled by a single channel each (linked by the pre-installed connection card). A computerized radio with at least 7 channels is the best solution; independent control of the aileron and flap servos will let you get the most out of your Norden. Fortunately, even entry-level radios such as Radiolink AT9S or AT10II, Futaba T6K or T10J now come with all the necessary mixers. In this case, you'll need to connect the aileron and flap servos directly (you can use our optional bypass cable). The instruction manual contains a thoroughly tested installation chart to help you install the Norden easily, even if it's your first aircraft with full-house controls.
