The Power Switch 25 is used to safely turn on a receiver system without wear and tear, and to provide high current for better servo performance. In order to use the optimum performance of your powerful and fast servos, a power supply providing high current, without losses, directly to the receiver's servo sockets is required. The PS-25 provides these safety features while minimizing the components that are susceptible to failure. The result is optimal protection against vibration and contact problems.
The switching output stages used ensure maximum and lossless current flow, the internal resistance is considerably lower than the contact resistance of mechanical switches. Due to the large cable cross-section in the receiver supply lines, the maximum current is sent directly to the servo sockets, allowing the servos to develop their possible power and performance in the first place.
The PS-25 uses a proven T-socket for the battery connection, on the receiver side there are 2 original Futaba plug cables (contact plugs). These special contacts allow exclusively continuous currents up to 6 A, the highest value for this connector system. The cable has a cross-section of 0.5 mm. The negative conductor is silver. This means that the full power of the battery switch or the battery in use can be transmitted directly to the control cables.
The high current electronic switch eliminates all problems of wear or vibration of mechanical switches. To switch on, simply press the ON button, which then only switches on the switching electronics (and thus the receiver and servos), after which the button is no longer active. The operating current always flows through the power electronics and not through the actuator buttons or switches.
