The development target was the popular F5j Tenshock 1515-15T drive with a Reisenauer Micro Edition gear and a 3s or 4s Lipo battery.
The diameter and pitch represent the optimal compromise between generated thrust and feed rate.
Of particular note is the extraordinary responsiveness when the motor is switched on and the immediate acceleration of the model due to the direct current on the propeller. In competition, it is often decisive for victory or defeat, when it is determined in the last few seconds at the poker around the cut-off altitude that more altitude is needed or that thermals far from the starting point must be reached.
