The Ibis belongs to the Elixir - Gracia - Condor model family, combining the wing of the Gracia model with the fuselage and tail surfaces of the Condor model.
The excellent flight characteristics, which will please many pilots, are mainly due to the profile used, the fully mechanized wing and the low flying weight of the model. Thanks to the profile used and the low surface load, the Ibis has a calm and stable glide. Highly efficient flaps can be used not only when circling in thermals, but also when landing as brakes. The wing spar made of carbon fabric as well as the carbon spar and the auxiliary spar in the middle part of the wing give the wing sufficient strength and rigidity. The main and auxiliary wing spars as well as the main tail spar are made of carbon bottom (main spar composed of several layers). The split elevator is a floating construction made entirely of balsa, with a carbon beam and a leading edge. The elevator is controlled by a fiberglass lever. The structural rudder is controlled by a drive cable.
