The de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter, currently marketed as the Viking Air DHC-6 Twin Otter, is a 19-passenger Canadian STOL (Short Takeoff and Landing) utility aircraft developed by de Havilland Canada and currently produced by Viking Air. The aircraft's fixed tricycle undercarriage, STOL capabilities and high rate of climb have made it a successful cargo, regional passenger and Medevac aircraft. In addition, the Twin Otter has been popular with commercial skydiving operations and is used by the U.S. Army Parachute Team and the U.S. Air Force 98th Flying Training Squadron.
This VQ ARF DHC-6 Twin Otter R/C aircraft reproduction is designed for modern electric motor systems. At its core, this model has a very scale outline and features many details not typically found on an ARF sport wood model.
