The KAPPA 28 is a competition model for the F5J/outruner category. The model is equipped with an electric drive provided by a three-phase motor with rotating casing. The model is designed for thermal flying, but is also suitable for leisure flying.
Technical description
The wing is made of glass cloth and rohacell using the sandwich technique. The main beam and all reinforcements are made of carbon fiber. The rudder and elevator are made of glass fabric and filled with a rohacell core reinforced with carbon tubes. The fuselage consists of two parts: the front nacelle and the carbon tube. The front nacelle is made of glass fabric using compressed air, reducing weight and maximizing the strength of all components. The wing contains 2 servomotors for the winglet and 2 servomotors for the flaps used to control the rudder and elevator.
