Or, when using a 3S 300 mAh battery, it offers even more speed and thrust for unlimited vertical performance without the need for modifications or upgrades! The optional SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limits, as well as automatic levelling that can be switched on and off at the flick of a switch, making flying a breeze!

!This Bind-N-Fly Basic model is equipped with a Spektrum 2.4GHz DSMX® receiver with AS3X® (Artificial Stabilization-3-aXis) technology that works behind the scenes to mitigate the effects of wind and turbulence, so you can enjoy a feeling of stability and precision that makes you feel like you're flying an even bigger, expertly-tuned aircraft.

If this is your first model of this type, or if you'd like an extra margin of safety as you familiarize yourself with the aircraft, you can activate the optional SAFE® Select flight envelope protection technology, integrated into the receiver. No complex programming is required.

With SAFE Select activated, you get:

Pitch and bank limits

• These envelope limits prevent the aircraft from rolling or turning upside down. They also prevent excessive climb or dive angles.

Automatic leveling

• The airplane returns instantly to level and steady flight when the control sticks are released and in the center position. It is also useful for keeping the wings level during take-offs and landings.

Easy switch assignment - no complex programming required

• The simple procedure of assigning a transmitter switch to activate and deactivate SAFE Select functions requires no complex programming, and takes just a few seconds. For UMX models like this one, the SAFE Select function is automatically assigned to channel 5 (Gear), so you can activate and deactivate it with any switch assigned to this channel (default switch A on most Spektrum computer transmitters).
