True to the FMS spirit, no detail was overlooked in the design of the ASW-17. FMS engineers made four costly tooling adjustments, simply for micro-modifications of the profile, to achieve perfect performance.

The wing, vertical tail and horizontal stabilizer are designed with a snap-together structure. With a simple plug-in, the wing and tailplane are attached to the fuselage with perfect precision, without screws or glue! You assemble the glider in just 3 minutes!

Like the 3000 mm Fox, the ASW-17 has a pre-installed carbon fiber spar that ensures the rigidity of the wing in high load figures.

To achieve the same dihedral as the actual glider, the ASW-17 was designed with a special CNC machined aluminum wing key. This allows to preserve the wing geometry in demanding aerobatic programs.

In terms of performance, a Hobbywing 40A brushless controller coupled with a Predator 3541-750KV motor provides high power, powered by a 4S LiPo pack, to perform most aerobatic tricks.
