The SAPPHIRE is the new thermal and versatile glider from Robbe Modellsport. The V-tail increases its maneuverability in thermal circles. The PNP version has already mounted servos, an electrical connection and original Multilocks as wing security. The flight characteristics can be described as very docile. The SAPPHIRE can be used as a slow thermal glider or as an all-round glider, although it is a little faster. The wings are made of a polystyrene core, glass fibre layers, Abachi covering and a carbon fibre reinforced spar. The weight/strength ratio has been optimally achieved.
