This weight-optimized high-end motor with a weight of only 190g is often used in glider models up to 3.2 kg. Of course, the A30-8 XL-LN kv1100 brushless motor is also perfectly suited for use in powerplanes and sports aircraft up to about 1.8 kg takeoff weight when tightly packed under the hood.
