Tandem dual-band receivers are unlike any other FrSky 2.4Ghz or 900Mhz receivers; they operate simultaneously on both 900Mhz and 2.4Ghz frequencies. This means that Tandem receivers not only provide low-latency signal and long-range control, but also benefit from an enhanced level of high reliability and anti-interference performance.
The Tandem Series receivers adopt a triple antenna design that provides broad multi-directional coverage for the remote signal. The 900Mhz antenna is a new small form factor design, but has the same performance as the previous 900Mhz antennas.
The TD MX offers 4 PWM channels on a small and light board, and it also has several integrated ports like SBUS Out, S.Port and FBUS. With the FBUS protocol, the Tandem series receivers can open up the possibility to seamlessly partner with multiple telemetry devices (Neuron ESCs, Advance Sensors, etc.) as well as simplify module installation. In addition, data (power and signal related) in the event of an unusual condition during flight can be recorded by the Tandem receivers through the integrated black box function.
