This updated and improved E-flite® EC-1500 Twin 1.5 m features a design optimized for capability, versatility and fun by offering a flying experience you simply can't get with any other aircraft! It's really several planes in one, with a wide flight envelope enabling slow scale, sporty flying and even aggressive 3D aerobatic capabilities. The "Twin" power system features brushless outrunner motors with custom counter-rotating five-blade propellers - and includes improved propeller adapters that bolt to the motor for easier, safer propeller mounting. This configuration offers excellent performance with a LiPo 3S 3200-6400 mAh battery, or you can install a 4S battery for hovering power and unlimited vertical capabilities - without modifications or upgrades! What's more, the motors are mated to a Spektrum ™ Avian ™ Dual Smart 40-amp ESC that can provide a variety of real-time power system telemetry data with Smart and non-Smart batteries via compatible receivers (including the AR8360T installed in the BNF® Basic version) and transmitters equipped with Spektrum AirWare™. The BNF® Basic version is equipped with a long-ported AR8360T receiver, providing real-time telemetry data, such as: battery voltage, ESC temperature, etc. -as well as differential thrust and motor reversal for special ground evolution and other capabilities-along with the benefits of optional AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. This 8-channel receiver, together with ailerons of different sizes and functional flaps moving in both directions, allow several possible wing configuration options - as "crow" and/or "full-span" aileron/flaperon/spoileron configuration.

There are eight factory-installed servos, and the surface control servos are all metal-geared, as is the functional loading door servo, so you can carry and jettison your cargo from the large hold. Real LED landing, navigation and simulated strobe lights are powered by the flight battery so you can fly from dawn to dusk - from paved surfaces, grass, dirt, from snow using the included skis or from large ponds and lakes using the optional floats (sold separately). Remove the magnetically attached nose cone to install a GoPro® or similar camera to record HD aerial footage, or mount a separate FPV camera on the large top hatch (cameras/equipment sold separately). What's more, you can use the included decals to decorate the now fully painted gray finish with markings from: the Ohio Air National Guard, Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, Navy and others to personalize your model! And the result is the most capable, versatile and fun to fly twin-engine aircraft for a wide range of pilots.
