Thanks to its unique inverted gull-wing design, the F4U Corsair is one of the most recognizable and iconic US Navy fighters of the Second World War. This updated and improved version of the E-flite® F4U-4 Corsair 1.2m features a factory-installed 3S and 4S compatible power system with an exclusive 70A Smart Lite ESC to deliver even greater capability and performance. The BNF® Basic version also includes an AR631 receiver compatible with telemetry and optional AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies, making flying easier than ever. The airframe is now decorated in the iconic "all-blue" trim scheme, and includes separate decal sheets to personalize it with MARINE, NAVY and other markings. Factory-installed rotating retractable undercarriages with hatch, plus operational flaps, take the warbird to another level!

It's better equipped for scale and sport flying, PLUS it offers higher speed and aerobatic capabilities than ever before - and includes optional SAFE® Select technology that makes it easier to fly (BNF® Basic version only). The factory-installed brushless power system includes a 70-amp Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart Lite electronic controller, plus a specially tuned 4-blade motor and propeller. This combination offers an abundance of thrust with a 3S LiPo battery, or more speed and almost unlimited vertical performance with a 4S battery. The ESC can provide a variety of real-time telemetry data linked to the power system, including motor rpm, current, battery voltage and more - with Smart and non-Smart batteries - via compatible receivers (including the AR631) and Spektrum AirWare™-equipped transmitters while you fly. Its lightweight yet durable, composite-reinforced, fully-molded EPO airframe features an abundance of scale details, including panel lines and a pilot silhouette. Functional features to scale include factory-installed rotating retractable undercarriages with gear doors and operational flaps. Decal sheets with MARINES, NAVY and other markings are supplied to personalize the factory-applied paint finish. Exclusive technologies

The BNF® Basic version is equipped with exclusive Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. AS3X works behind the scenes to mitigate the effects of wind and turbulence to deliver a locked-in feel that makes you feel like you're flying a much larger aircraft. The optional SAFE Select function allows you to limit pitch and bank angles, as well as automatic leveling, which can be activated or deactivated at the touch of a button! And if you don't want to activate the SAFE Select functions, simply link the receiver normally and only the AS3X will be active.

Intelligent technology

The F4U-4 Corsair 1.2m is equipped with an exclusive Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart Lite ESC that can provide a variety of real-time telemetry data related to the power system, including engine speed, current, battery voltage and more - with Smart and non-Smart batteries - via compatible receivers (including the AR631) and Spektrum AirWare™-equipped transmitters (including the DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX20 and others) while you fly.
