Of all aircraft The P-51 Mustang is one of the most famous American fighters of World War II. The P-51B Mustang was the first Merlin-powered version and appeared in 1943. Merlin-powered Mustangs were exactly what Allied bombers in Europe desperately needed, and they became famous for their long range and high altitude escort capability.

This Tuskegee and Shangri-la inspired model of the P-51B/C is a flying and beautiful model. The Red-Tail color scheme is captured here in this VQ ARF. You will find the aircraft easy to fly and just as easy to finish with its standard ARF assembly and construction. This model is factory built and finished, including hardware and even a painted pilot. The model includes fixed landing gear and an optional retractable landing gear is available.

VQ recognizes that today's R/C pilot wants to fly his aircraft with his preferred type of power system. This model is designed to accept two-stroke, four-stroke and, with some modifications, can fly with an electric power system. Power it the way you want to power it.
