Aerobatic Aircraft - PilotRC - EDGE 540 V3 - (approx. 2.15m) - red, black, white

The Pilot-RC Edge 540 V3 85″ is a radio-controlled aircraft designed for aerobatics and 3D flight. This 2.16 m wingspan version follows the modern lines of the full-scale Edge 540 V3.

Its airframe combines a wooden structure with composite elements to reinforce the fuselage and wings. The model is covered with genuine German Oracover film. Pilot-RC states an empty weight of about 7.7 kg and a wing area of 8,880 cm².

The wings, stabilizer, and canopy feature a patented quick-assembly system. The wings and stabilizers are removable to facilitate transport and storage. The hinges are installed, glued, and pinned at the factory.

The engine cowl is mounted from the inside, with only two screws accessible under the fuselage. The engine mounting position is laser-engraved. The open structure also makes it easy to install a canister-type muffler.
