The Pilot-RC Extra 330SX 75″ is an ARF acrobatic RC plane with a 1.90 m wingspan, designed for a 30 to 40 cc gas engine or equivalent electric power. Its hybrid construction of wood and composite materials is intended for precision aerobatics and 3D flight. Pilot-RC states a weight of approximately 5.6 kg.
The Pilot-RC Extra 330SX 75″ is a radio-controlled aerobatic aircraft designed to combine precision, agility, and low-speed stability. With a wingspan of 1.90 m and a wing area of 7,194 cm², it is intended to be powered by a 30 to 40 cc gasoline engine or an equivalent electric setup.
Its airframe features a hybrid construction combining wood and composite materials to reinforce the fuselage and wings. The covering is applied on a German-made Oracover base.
The Pilot-RC quick-mount system is fitted to the wings, stabilizer, SFG, and canopy. The stabilizer can be removed without tools for easier transport and reduced setup time at the field.
The fuel tank is positioned at the center of gravity to minimize balance variations during flight. Hinges are factory-installed, glued, and pinned. The engine mounting position is laser-engraved, and the open structure makes it easy to install a canister-type muffler.
The model supports either a pull-pull or push-pull rudder linkage. The elevator halves are designed to fit standard-size servos.
The kit notably includes:
