Get off to a good start in RC racing with the low-cost buggy: Losi Mini-B 2WD. With its new brushless power system and race-proven TLR 22 engineering, the Mini-B combines high torque and acceleration with unrivalled agility for controlled jumps and turns.
Since the introduction of the first Mini-T stadium truck in 2003, Losi has been raising the bar for performance in mini RC racing. As more and more Losi RC mini fans honed their skills on makeshift tracks built in their driveways and gardens, Losi continued to push the limits of what RC mini vehicles can do - adding, for example, the TLR 22's high-end suspension engineering and installing powerful brushless electronics. The result is the Losi Mini-B 2WD brushless racing buggy. Versatile, affordable, fast and fun, the Mini-B is an excellent starting point for any aspiring RC racer.
Right out of the box, the Mini-B brushless is fully assembled and ready to go, with everything you'll need to hit the track. Although mini in size, the Mini-B offers the same performance capabilities as larger RC racing buggies. Its efficient 2-in-1 brushless motor and ESC system can send it up to speeds of 48 km/h (30 mph) in a straight line, and its exceptional handling coupled with this power allow you to dive into a corner and overtake your opponents, or perform your jumps consistently. The Mini-B will also stand up to bumps with other competitors. And with a suspension inspired by the prestigious TLR 22 - a vehicle adept at podium finishes in the most competitive 1/10-scale buggy races - the Mini-B behaves like a top-of-the-range machine, agile in corners and jumps.
Many improvements have been made, however small, and they combine to make a major difference on the track. To name but a few: The transmission housing now accepts anti-roll bars. The front bulkhead has been thickened for improved strength. A servo backup has also been improved for greater precision, and new shock-absorber cartridges provide a smoother ride. The Mini-B 2WD brushless racing buggy also comes with a high-capacity Spektrum Smart 810 mAh 2S LiPo battery and a Smart USB charger for easy, precise recharging and improved running times.
Losi has equipped the Mini-B with Wide Body Rib front tires and Big Shot rear tires - popular Losi tires from the early 2000s.
The Mini-B chassis is adjustable, and optional parts are also available. So, as your racing experience develops, you can fine-tune the performance of your mini buggy to keep getting better results. Get your foot in the door of RC racing today with the Losi Mini-B 2WD brushless buggy. Whether on your local track or on a circuit set up in your basement, it's sure to stimulate your competitive spirit.
The Losi Mini-B 2WD brushless racing buggy's mid-motor configuration produces a well-balanced chassis on high-traction surfaces, and allows better performance on multi-surface terrain with a good steering/traction balance.
The Mini-B has been designed with a 1.5 mm thick 6061-T6 aluminum chassis plate offering strength and durability as well as rigidity that greatly enhances racing performance.
Injection-molded oil-bath shock absorbers feature threaded shock collars that allow easy adjustment of preload and ride height to adapt quickly to the track after a few warm-up laps. Shock absorber bodies also feature a rebuildable, bottom-loading shock absorber cartridge with two O-rings to ensure leak-tightness. As an option, shock absorbers can be tuned with different spring rates and TLR oil grades, available separately.
The included 7.4 V 810 mAh 2S Smart G2 50C LiPo battery not only offers high capacity for longer operating times, but also stores its charging parameters on an integrated chip. This data is automatically downloaded to the included Smart charger when the battery is connected. Safe, precise charging begins immediately.
Thanks to innovative Spektrum Smart technology, the included LiPo 2S battery automatically communicates with the supplied Smart USB charger as soon as you plug it in. You don't have to worry about setting the right charging parameters-we'll take care of it for you. Charging is convenient, safe and easy!
The tires included with the Mini-B 2WD brushless racing buggy are reproductions of Losi's popular Big Shot rear tires and Wide Body Rib front tires from the early 2000s.
The metal gear transmission is designed to handle the massive power of the Mini-B's brushless motor system. All gears are mounted on ball bearings for smooth, high-performance transmission.
The entire vehicle is fitted with ball bearings for greater smoothness and maximum efficiency: a must-have for racing!
The Spektrum SX108 steering servo turns Mini-B tires with over 40 ounces of torque. Its servo save provides steering consistency while protecting the servo from sudden shocks caused by collisions with other vehicles on the track.
In addition to providing interference-free control, the included Spektrum SLT2 2.4 GHz transmitter offers many useful features such as: steering trim, steering speed and reversing. Thanks to its throttle limit switch, beginners can limit the buggy's speed potential from 50% to 75% to 100% - perfect for learning to master your RC gradually and safely.
The Spektrum SR315 dual-protocol 3-channel receiver offers exceptional range and response with a robust 2.4 GHz link. It features an additional port for racing transponders and allows upgrades to higher-performance Spektrum transmitters without the need for a new receiver.
Compete, customize, upgrade: you can do it all with the Losi Mini-B 2WD. A full range of optional parts is available to personalize this racing buggy.
Small improvements make a big difference on the track! After studying the Mini-B and listening to drivers, Losi engineers found many ways to refine its design. The height of the shock absorber cup has been adjusted to keep the spring secure. An added bearing spacer in the rear hub lets you clamp the rear wheel with confidence. The ball cups are made from a new material that offers improved functionality and durability. The transmission housing accepts anti-roll bars and the front bulkhead has been thickened to increase strength. The new slipper offers a more consistent feel with brushless power, and the servo saver provides greater reliability and a more direct feel when changing direction.
