The EfliteTimber X 1.2m is an ultra versatile high wing aircraft for all pilots. Its innovative design combines the performance of a sport plane with the versatility of a bush plane.
Comes standard with a landing gear with large wheels. It is possible to install floats (EFL5261 optional) to take off from any surface.
The Timber is equipped with a brushless motor, LEDs, flaps, landing gear.
This BNF Basic version is delivered without radio, without battery, without charger. Simply with its integrated AS3X Safe receiver and of course all the electronics (propulsion and servos)
The E-flite® Timber® X 1.2m has combined the ADAC capabilities of the original Timber 1.5m model with a wing design that includes oversized ailerons and flaps, plus an enlarged rudder and elevator and a more powerful 3S and 4S compatible power system, to also offer the 3D performance you expect from a full-featured airplane. The Night Timber® X 1.2m is now equipped with factory-installed high visibility LED lights throughout the airframe to fly all day AND all night! It also features a Spektrum™ Avian™ 60-amp Smart ESC and the BNF® Basic version is equipped with an AR637T receiver that offers full telemetry including real-time battery voltage, current, temperature and more - as well as motor reversal for special ground handling and other capabilities - using compatible transmitters. The E-flite® Timber® X 1.2m was the catalyst for a new era of ADAC aircraft with added 3D aerobatic capabilities. Based on the extremely popular 1.5m Timber model, but with a new wing design, oversized control surfaces and a 3S and 4S compatible power system, it offers an even wider flight envelope to provide a "soft to wild" experience. And in addition to the standard LED landing, navigation and strobe lights, the Night Timber® X 1.2m model adds high-visibility LED lights integrated throughout the airframe that make it possible to fly at just about any time - day OR night!
It also features exclusive Smart Technology via its Spektrum™ Avian™ 60-amp Smart ESC, and the BNF® Basic version is equipped with an AR637T receiver that offers full telemetry including real-time battery voltage, current, temperature and more on compatible transmitters - plus reverse gear for special ground handling and other capabilities! Hollow core EPO construction with composite reinforcement results in a lightweight yet strong airframe that offers the same flight weight as the original Timber X - even with the added LED lights. It also allows it to perform extreme aerobatic maneuvers while keeping the wing loading low for impressive short takeoff and landing (ADAC) and slow flight performance. It also features high-torque, metal gear servos and the original model's shock-absorbing landing gear, so you can fly as aggressively as you want on almost any surface. You can even install the included static leading edge flaps to further enhance slow flight performance, or the optional floats (EFL5261, sold separately) so you can fly on the water all day AND all night too!
eXtra LED lights LED lights are built into the airframe and allow you to fly all day AND all night! They are powered by the 3S or 4S 2200-3200mAh flight battery and can be easily disconnected when flying in daylight. In addition, just like the original, the Night Timber® X 1.2m is also equipped with realistic-looking landing, navigation and LED strobe lights.
eXtra Smart Technology The Night Timber® X 1.2m is equipped with a proprietary Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart ESC system that can provide a variety of real-time telemetry data on the power system, including engine RPM, current, battery voltage and more, via compatible receivers (including the AR637T) and Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters (including DX6e and 8e, DX6 and 8 G2, DX9, iX12, iX20) while you fly. It also features a motor reverser to provide special ground handling and other capabilities.
eXtra Power The factory-installed brushless power system includes a 60-amp Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart ESC plus a specially tuned motor and propeller that provide abundant thrust with a 3S LiPo battery, or eXtra power and vertical performance with a 4S battery without the need for modifications or upgrades. ADAC Capabilities The wing design has a shorter wingspan but almost as much surface area as the original 1.5m Timber®, plus it features angled wingtips and can be equipped with the included leading edge flaps to improve slow flight and ADAC performance. These features, along with the lightweight design, oversized flaps and high-power brushless power system, allow you to soar through the air or glide to a landing in less than a meter.
