If you're new to RC flying, or want an extra margin of safety to familiarize yourself with your aircraft, you can activate the optional SAFE Select flight mode. With SAFE Select mode activated, you'll benefit from:
Limiting bank angles.
It will prevent the aircraft from rolling over. This feature also prevents excessive climb or descent angles during takeoff and landing.
Self-stabilization
This feature allows the aircraft to level off instantly when you release the sticks.
No programming is required. The function is automatically assigned to your transmitter's train channel so you can turn it on and off as you wish.
High power and beginner-friendly flight envelope
When paired with an E-flite 2S 280mA 30C Li-Po battery (EFLB2802S30 - sold separately), the model gives you exceptional performance with its powerful 180 Brushless motor and low wing loading. When flying at low speed, its autonomy can reach 8 minutes with the same battery. With more speed, the 182 will easily perform loops and rolls.
