FMS not only invests in the design of the aircraft, but also in the design of the box. The box mold, CNC machined, allows to perfectly receive the parts and to wedge them. The cost is double that of a conventional box mold, as it took two weeks of CAD design to make an extremely robust package. Before mass production, crash tests were carried out, on all angles and on all 6 sides!
For many model makers, glue is unacceptable. Here we offer you the most practical aircraft, which can be assembled without glue, just with a few screws. It takes only 10 minutes or less for an experienced pilot and 15 minutes for a beginner to complete the assembly.
After more than a month of research from various sources, the engineers obtained the most accurate data and plans and worked on them. Our team focused on every detail, every structural line, every rivet, and the scenery. The 5-blade propeller, the retractable landing gear, the flaps, the scale pilot, everything gives this plane a special touch.
The aircraft on the market are still made of high density, low rate foam, due to their low cost, which makes for models with poor flying qualities. The PC-21 uses a low-density, high-rate EPO 52 foam, which lightens the aircraft by about 15 percent, optimizing flight qualities without weakening the airframe.
Economical oil-based paints have some drawbacks, such as heavy corrosion (which deforms the models in hot weather), and cause environmental damage, as well as being harmful to health. The PC-21's high quality paint protects fragile foam parts in all conditions. And to make it an environmentally friendly product, water-based paint is used on this model.
This is the result of the collaboration of engineers from all over the world. The model has been thoroughly tested and modified for months. As a result, it flies very stable without gyros and you can land with confidence, even without flaps. Once you are familiar with the aircraft, the retractable landing gear and flaps will add a high level of realism to your flights.
