Model SIVA Zeppelin LZ129 Hindenburg 1:408 600mm
The Zeppelin LZ 129 "Hindenburg", named after the German Reich President Paul von Hindenburg, was one of the two largest aircraft ever built, along with its twin LZ 130.
Its first flight took place in March 1936.
The Zeppelin was 245 meters long and had a diameter of 41.2 meters.
On May 6, 1937, it was destroyed during the landing at Lakehurst (New Jersey, USA) when the hydrogen filling ignited.
35 of the 97 people on board and one ground crew member died.
The finished model shows the wooden base structure of the Zeppelin legend and impresses with its length of 600 mm.
