G8 batteries are much lighter and smaller than standard batteries. It is recommended that when upgrading from a standard battery to a G8 that you select a cell with a slightly higher mAh capacity than the one previously used. Customers should compare the size and weight of their previous packs to the G8 before purchasing. For example, our 5200 mah cell is equivalent in size to most standard 3800 to 4400 cells. It is important to choose a larger battery to take advantage of the increased capacity and discharge rate of the G8.
