In 1965, the "Hermann-Hans" was sold to Henry Dölling, who renamed the ship "Rita Dölling" in honor of his wife.1986, the municipality of Stade bought the ship for the navigation school of Grünendeich, which carries out on board teaching modules for training as a ship's engineer. In 1994, the Alter Hafen Stade e. V. the Greundiek of the district of Stade. After the first repair work on the dock of the Hamburg Norderwerft, the ship was delivered in the port of Stade on 22 April of the same year.
