LiFePO4 receiver pack, equipped with JR connector and JST-XH type balancing plug.Almost all receiver packs are with NiMh. The LiPo works very well too, but in 2S it is necessary to add a voltage regulator because the nominal voltage is too high (7,4V in 2S).the LiFePO4 batteries have a nominal voltage of 3,3V and can replace with advantage the NiMh by placing 2 in series to obtain 6,6V and to feed a reception with or without BEC according to the connected equipment. Here are the advantages of LiFePO4:- More capacity for less weight- no self discharge, you are ready to fly even after several times of non use (unlike NiMh)- Better voltage under load (during strong current calls due to the servos in function)- recharge under 4C possible (that is to say 15min to recharge the pack!!!)

Warning : Many servos, and particularly "cheap" servos, cannot withstand operating at the voltage supplied by 6.6V LiFePO4. Trying to operate a servo that is designed for 6V at maximum can lead to its destruction on the ground as well as in flight. Such a malfunction is the responsibility of the user.
All Hyperion servos (except DS09 and DS11 series) can handle the 6.6V LiFePO4 receiver packs
It is possible to connect a linear or switching BEC between the LiFePO4 pack and the receiver to regulate the voltage between 5 and 6V.
These packs must only be charged with a charger that has the LiFe program.
