System requirements for using the programmer

Power supply: USB (5 V/500 mA)

Operating system: Windows® XP/Vista/7/8/10 (32/64bit)

USB port: USB 2.0

Compatible servos: KAVAN GO-10xx/GO-11xx/GO-12xx series

Programmable functions

Servo Angle: Used to set the maximum servo travel. The default setting is approximately 120° for normal control pulse width (900~2100 µs); approximately 180° for maximum allowed control pulse width (500~2500 µs).

Servo neutral: Set the neutral (center) position of the servo.

Damping Factor: Defines the characteristics of the servo's stopping behavior.

PWM Power: Sets the power output of the servo. The higher the value, the faster the servo and the more thrust it has - of course the current consumption will be proportionally higher. Value range: 39.2~100%.

Sensitivity: Sets the sensitivity (insensitivity bandwidth) of the servo. The higher the value, the narrower the insensitivity bandwidth - the servo will only move if the change in control signal width is greater than the insensitivity bandwidth. Setting the sensitivity value too high can cause the servo to oscillate in some applications. Range: Ultra High (Extra High - approx. 1 µs sensitivity bandwidth) - High (approx. 2 µs) - Medium (approx. 3 µs) - Low (approx. 4 µs)

Soft start: Enables/disables the soft start function. This function prevents the servo from abruptly moving to the operating position after power up, thus reducing the risk of damage to the servo gears.

Reverse: Reverses the direction of servo movement.

FUTABA SR Mode: Used only with the FUTABA RC system operating in SR mode. Do not enable this option if you are using another FUTABA RC system setting or another brand of RC system.

SANWA SSR Mode: Used only with the SANWA RC system operating in SSR Mode. Do not enable this option if you are using a different SANWA RC system setting or another brand of RC system.

Fail-safe: If the control signal from the receiver is completely lost or the servo cannot detect the signal properly (e.g. due to interference), the servo can enter one of three fail-safe modes:

(a) Free: The failsafe is disabled.

(b) Position hold: The servo holds the position corresponding to the last correctly received signal.

(c) Transition to neutral: The servo returns to the neutral position (1500 µs pulse width).

Overload protection: Enables or disables the three-stage servo overload protection - once the overload has lasted for a preset time (in seconds), the servo output power is limited to the corresponding preset value (in % of the maximum power).

Reset: Resets the connected servo to its factory default settings.

The programmer kit includes: GO servo programmer, manual.
