Designed as a modern, elegant and maneuverable "sport" aircraft, the E-flite Sportix 1.1 m is a perfect transitional model from a trainer for low-flying-time pilots to a hassle-free everyday aerobatic aircraft for more experienced pilots. It's capable of smooth, predictable "sport" flying, as well as basic to aggressive aerobatics and even precision "compulsory figures". Its practical size makes it easy to store, transport and fly in sports fields, large parks or RC flying areas - while still being large enough to be easy to see and to fly well into the wind - especially the BNF Basic version. The latter is equipped with improved AS3X+ technology, which mitigates the effects of wind and turbulence better than ever. This version also features optional SAFE Select technology to make flying even easier, and both versions include Spektrum digital servos with metal gears, a Smart Lite 45A ESC, plus a 3S and 4S compatible motor!

Whether you're a beginner pilot ready to take the next step after mastering your training model and want to learn more advanced aerobatics, or an experienced pilot looking for a fun, all-round model, the E-flite Sportix 1.1m is a perfect choice. It's designed to be able to perform basic and aggressive precision aerobatics, while being fluid, stable and predictable in every phase of flight. It has also been designed to include a variety of modern features and conveniences, from LED navigation lights to a two-part horizontal stabilizer and wings with "hands-free" servo connections that can be installed and removed without the use of tools or fasteners. It's also conveniently sized for easy storage and transport without disassembly - so it can be flown in large parks, sports fields as well as RC flying areas. Factory-installed digital and metal-geared servos with ball-jointed linkages offer precise, reliable control at every speed. The power system includes a Spektrum motor and a 45-amp Avian Smart Lite controller compatible with the popular 3S and 4S 2200-3200mAh batteries. The BNF Basic version is equipped with a factory-installed Spektrum AR631+ receiver featuring exclusively enhanced AS3X+ and optional SAFE Select technologies.

Skill Level 2 - Next step after training model - Some experience required

Skill Level 2 - This "next step" model after a trainer, like this one, is suitable for RC pilots who have successfully learned to fly a trainer, and for those with the skills to assemble, configure and fly models of a similar class. And although it's a very smooth and stable flying model, it's not the first RC aircraft suitable for beginners. You need to have the experience and skills to successfully fly a training model like the HobbyZone AeroScout 1.1 m and Carbon Cub 1.3 m, or models like the E-flite T-28 Trojan 1.1 m, Valiant 1.3 m, Turbo Timber Evolution 1.5 m and other models of a similar class before attempting to fly the Sportix 1.1 m BNF Basic version.

Smart technology

The Sportix 1.1 m is equipped with an exclusive Spektrum Avian Smart Lite controller that can provide a wide variety of telemetry data related to the power system in real time, such as: engine speed, current, battery voltage and much more - with Smart and non-Smart batteries - via compatible receivers. (including AR631+) and Spektrum AirWare-equipped transmitters (including DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6 to 20, iX12 to 20 and others) while you're flying. What's more, optional motor/thrust reversal can help shorten deployment after landing, and offers other special capabilities during ground evolutions (5 to 6+ channel transmitter required for reversal).

Versatile power

The factory-installed brushless power system includes a Spektrum Avian Smart Lite 45-amp controller and a specially tuned motor that delivers plenty of thrust with a 3S 2,200 mAh LiPo battery, or more speed and unlimited vertical performance with up to a 4S 3,200 mAh battery. without the need for modifications or options.

Easy assembly

No glue is required for final assembly, and you can get the Sportix 1.1 m ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge a battery! Its convenient size means it can be transported fully assembled in just about any vehicle, and you can also remove the two-part wing for even easier storage and transport. Integrated fender locks and hands-free connections let you remove/install the fender in no time, without using tools or fasteners.
