Now you can build and fly the legend again! Enjoy the stimulating experience of building an RC model that will ultimately be over 80cm long and weigh in at just under 10kg. All you have to do is install your own electronics in the HPI Baja 5B FLUX construction process, and you're ready for any adventure.
With extra-strong transmission parts from the thermal version, such as the viscous torque differential, ultra-durable composite spur gear with internal damping and an all-metal transmission, the HPI Baja 5B FLUX is ready to take up to 8S of pure LiPo power to propel itself at over 80km/h.
The HPI Baja 5B FLUX is also equipped with extra-large, super-strong suspension parts, offering HPI's impressive strength! With its molded composite suspension, the fruit of our designers' experience, extra-long adjustable HD shocks and massive, high-impact 3-piece nylon wheels, the Baja 5B FLUX is ready to launch at full speed on any off-road track!
The 4 mm-thick 6061 aluminum monocoque chassis houses a huge battery compartment and has plenty of room for the biggest RC brushless motor you can find. Shaped by folding for maximum strength, the chassis provides mounting points for motor and suspension, forming the backbone of the car. Precise steering is provided by a double-crank rack and pinion and a cam-type servo-saver. The aluminum parts are anodized in gunmetal color, and the classic Baja Desert Racer transparent polycarbonate body is included in the SBK kit, ready to wear your colors!
