It's an EDF that flies smoothly and behaves like a sports plane, but is also capable of top speeds and incredible acrobatics. But what really sets it apart is the ease with which it can take off, fly, land or be launched, making it the first choice for many pilots. No glue or special tools are required for assembly, and you can have it ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge a battery! The lightweight, composite-reinforced EPO airframe is factory-finished in the now iconic Aircraft Studio Design finish. And the seven factory-installed digital servos with ball-jointed linkages offer crisp, precise control at all speeds. It also features functional LED navigation and landing lights, as well as factory-installed flaps for shorter take-offs and landings, and improved slow-flight performance. Skill Level 2 - Some experience required
Skill Level 2 aircraft, like this one, are suitable for RC pilots who already have some experience and the necessary skills to assemble, configure and fly models of a similar class. And while this Viper is easier to fly than the larger models, it's not a first RC plane suitable for novice pilots, nor is it a first EDF (Electric Ducted Fan) jet model for inexperienced RC pilots. You need to have the experience and skills to successfully fly simpler EDF models like the 50 mm or 70 mm E-flite Habu SS (Super Sport), other similar jet models or high-performance propeller models, before attempting to fly the Viper 64 mm. EDF.
Are you new to flying RC aircraft?
