Duplex EX Mspeed sensor

MSPEED is a sensor that measures the speed of a model in flight by providing the indicated air speed (IAS). Knowing the airspeed can be very instructive when flying a model aircraft by allowing the pilot to determine the stall speed of the models, for example. Another function of the sensor is to allow the pilot to set a speed slightly higher than the stall speed, at which point an acoustic signal is triggered by the transmitter module, as a warning. To facilitate the reading of the indicated airspeed, an analog bar is displayed and is configurable according to the characteristics of the models. The measurement of the anemometric speed is based on the principle of dynamic pressure change, measured by a total pressure tap (pitot tube) connected by a silicone pipe. With the help of the Duplex wireless system, this information can be reported to the pilot in real time (visually and acoustically) allowing to adapt the piloting accordingly.
