Electrothermal glider suitable for the F5J competition category
This model succeeds its predecessor, the EOS III. The new Notos model features a three-piece wing attached to the fuselage by two screws. It uses a custom-designed airfoil. This glider stands out for its improved penetration and very low stall speed.
The wing and tail surfaces are made of XPS polystyrene, vacuum-laminated with carbon spars and a carbon leading edge. The carbon D-box structure ensures better diagonal stability of the wing. The fuselage consists of a slim carbon pod and a carbon tube. The horizontal stabilizer is located in front of the vertical stabilizer on a carbon mount. The Notos model is only available in a full carbon version.
