The fiberglass molded engine cowling has exhaust outlets for hot air. Like the real thing, the model is equipped with flaps to facilitate short landings and slow flight. A large hatch from the struts to the rear of the canopy allows easy access to the interior of the fuselage. The tail wheel is of course steerable to ensure easy taxiing and is also damped.
