The Piper PA-18 Super Cub is a single-engine, two-seat monoplane. It was developed from the Piper PA-11. In nearly 40 years of production, more than 9,000 units were built. The Super Cub is found in a variety of roles such as bush flying, banner towing and glider towing. Just like our very popular 1400mm J-3 Cub, the 1700mm PA-18 Super Cub has superb flying qualities, while offering more power and a longer wingspan. Thanks to functional flaps, a very lifty profile, its rustic landing gear and oversized balloon wheels, the 1700mm PA-18 Super Cub has impressive short takeoff and landing (STOL) performance, allowing it to be used virtually anywhere. Utilizing the latest equipment and design from FMS, the 1700mm PA-18 Super Cub has pre-mounted ball-jointed controls, servo connectors integrated into the wing structure and can be assembled very easily without glue. For the pilot seeking a true STOL experience, "bush flying," the Piper PA-18 Super Cub can also be equipped with floats (not included in the box).
