The Spektrum™ AR20410T PowerSafe™ receiver is a feature-rich 20-channel receiver with full telemetry. Spektrum PowerSafe receivers are designed for models using numerous servos and accessories that draw excessive current, such as those found on giant aircraft and jet models. Now with innovative features such as: fast restart recovery, support for regenerative servos, remote standby mode and the all-new Synapse AS3X+ module.
The revolutionary Spektrum™ Synapse™ flight stabilization module is significantly improved on its predecessor, the AS3000. Equipped with the all-new AS3X+ stabilization algorithm, the Synapse has been rigorously tested by experts in our hobby and put to the ultimate test. Over many years, Spektrum has taken into account its customers' wishes regarding the AS3000, and has specially designed the Synapse with turbine and large-scale aircraft in mind. Its lightweight design and innovative features make it the ideal choice for pilots needing the best in-flight stabilization for today's complex models.
Previously, pilots had to reduce the performance of stabilizer systems by lowering gains to fine-tune their personal feel. Now, our new stop-lock and release-rate settings let you customize the feel of the gyro system while delivering optimum stabilization performance. With the Synapse, we introduce the ability to adjust AS3X+ and SAFE parameters with 10 customizable channels for all flight controls. This enables pilots to fine-tune their aircraft in flight. What's more, we've also added support for auxiliary output configuration, which means you can now stabilize outputs linked to mixes or other separate outputs for traditional wing types. For example, if you had flaps configured to become ailerons using a mix and switch action, you can now configure these surfaces to also have a stabilizing action.
We've added support for multiple gyro systems within a single device. This provides the equivalent functionality of running multiple gyro systems or flight controllers within a single system, allowing you to add stabilizing action to single outputs such as: thrust vectoring or "canards" without the need to purchase an additional gyro. Changes have been made to the gyro filtering to improve response time. This has enabled us to essentially double the gain efficiency in some cases. Ultimately, this contributes to further enhancing the aircraft's stability in choppy flight conditions.
Finally, significant improvements have been made to the operation of the heading hold mode. Transitions between user inputs and heading hold are now smoother, offering a more natural feel in flight. With the Synapse, we've isolated its sensor to combat the acoustic interference that could be observed in certain turbine applications. All delivered in a beautiful aluminum case with three vibration-isolating mounting points.
Combined with the new Spektrum™ AR20410T PowerSafe™ receiver, it's an incredible combination of advanced stabilization and state-of-the-art electronics.
Spektrum has taken years of customer feedback on the AS3000 and purpose-built the Synapse and AS3X+ algorithm with turbine and giant scale aircraft in mind. We've vastly improved the flying characteristics, designed the system to operate flawlessly in noisy turbine environments and given you 20 stabilized outputs. Now, you can genuinely set your new model's gyro up in less than 5 minutes without a PC, cables or stick position commands. It's so easy, anyone can do it!
The all-new AS3X+ features a vastly improved stabilization algorithm that has been rigorously tested by experts throughout the hobby. The system is even easier to tune and can be easily optimized for any type of aircraft you fly. Never again spend hours tuning and tweaking until you get your aircraft locked in. We've been able to set up most aircraft in less than 5 minutes including the first flight tuning.
Key AS3X+ improvements include:
You now have access to our SAFE technology at the flip of a switch which can potentially turn any disastrous situation into a complete recovery. Have the confidence and seconds you need to regroup after an orientation loss or distraction at the field. SAFE can even be selected for the failsafe position with predefined bank and pitch angles. SAFE has saved thousands of aircraft and can potentially save yours.
Our new multi-gyro system provides support for thrust vectoring and canards. This offers the equivalent functionality of running multiple gyro systems or flight controllers within one system. No additional gyro units needed!
The Synapse case is machined aluminum with three grommeted hard mounts for easy installation in most aircraft
Synapse's gyro sensor is encased in a sound and vibration reduction insulation designed for turbine applications. While other systems require third-party sound damping, we've designed Synapse to work flawlessly in most turbine applications.
Synapse's sensor cable is now designed with a locking connector on the RX side and the sensor side is internally mounted inside Synapse. This ensures that your synapse remains connected to your receiver regardless of in-flight vibrations.
The AR20410T receiver features an advanced power management system designed with sleep mode allowing pilots to remotely power on/off from the transmitter. This exciting new feature allows you to power up your model's electronic system at the press of a button. No hatch removal or physical switches are needed, and it is extremely convenient for a day at the flying field.
The AR20410T PowerSafe receiver features innovative Fast Boot technology that allows the Synapse system to reboot in flight upon power interruption. The technology skips various start-up checks and provides the pilot control instantly using a saved stabilization calibration.
When a micro-SD card is inserted into the receiver, flight information will be logged for later retrieval. This includes flight log data, battery status and other important telemetry stored over time. This can be helpful for diagnosis performance.
Black Box captures the following data:
holds, frames, fades_0, fades_1, fades_2, fades_3, rssi_dBm, rssi_Pct, fp_volt, rpm_us, rxVoltage, currentA, currentB, voltsA, voltsB, chargeUsedA, chargeUsedB, tempF, altitudeFt, tempC, altitudeM
The AR20410T Supports 12v servo operation and can handle any number of regenerative servos. A huge leap forward in support for future technology improvements in the servo world.
Easily connects and communicates with any of Spektrum's SRXL2 products such as the Spektrum SKY and our Smart ESCs. Additionally, some third party sensors and modules will use SRXL2.
Easily download, install updates and register your receiver on our Spektrum community website. Special cables are no longer required!
The included momentary pushbutton is designed to be installed in your aircraft to allow booting and shutting down the system. With a unique press and hold pattern, accidental shutdowns are extremely unlikely. Additionally, the AR20410T receiver has its own power switch that can be used instead.
Binding is easier than ever with four ways to initiate the binding process. Bind button, Forward Programming, use of a bind plug and remote receiver button.
